We moved to Mauritius in the year 2013. I joined Pranic Healing Foundation, Mauritius in Vacoas in the same year. There was a retreat for Arhatic Yogis at Mahabalipuram, India in February 2016. Foundation planned a visit to Pune Ashram and Mahabalipuram with my Mauritian Pranic Healing Group. Flight bookings, travel and hotel bookings were taken care of by our foundation. I had to leave Pranjal and Aadi with Prasanna in Mauritius and had to travel to India. I was worried but Prasanna took the charge and promised to manage everything. I enrolled my name with this assurance. I was excited to attend the Retreat as it was my first Retreat as an Arhatic Yogi. The most important thing was GMCKS Arhatic Yoga Ashram at Pune is open only for Arhatic Yogis. Entry is restricted to others. Through this Blog, you can see the interior of this beautiful Ashram.

We landed in Mumbai and traveled by bus to Pune. GMCKS Ashram is situated in Nive village, Mulshi Taluka, Pune, Maharashtra. It took us around 5 hours to reach Ashram. We need to do registration before going to Ashram. You must be wondering who is GMCKS? What is Arhatic Yoga? What is this Ashram about? So let me answer these questions first.
Who is GMCKS?
GMCKS is Grand Master Choa Kok Sui from Phillipines. He was born on 15th August 1952 and left his body on 19th March 2007. He is the founder of modern Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga. He authored more than 20 books based on his teachings, spirituality and meditation.

What is Arhatic Yoga?
Arhatic Yoga is an advanced technique of meditation that balances three divine aspects love, intelligence and power. Arhatic Yogis develop higher intuition, advanced mental powers, stable emotions, good character etc. These qualities help Arhatic Yogis to become totally integrated human beings. There is an Arhatic Yoga course offered by Pranic Healing Foundation which teaches these advanced meditational techniques. I learned it in Mauritius but it is available in India also.
What is Arhatic Yoga Ashram?
GMCKS build this beautiful Ashram where Arhatic Yogis around the world could practice meditations intensively. This Ashram is spread over around 60 acres of land surrounded by hills and valleys. It is situated in deep valley near scenic Mulshi lake. This place is away from the outside world and you can find abundance of fresh air here. The place is filled with silence, positive energy and rejuvenated Yogis for their practice.

GMCKS selected this place for its special properties. You will find crystals everywhere. If you dig the soil, you will get crystals. They are in raw form. The natural crystals make the meditations very intense and that is the reason GMCKS build Ashram here for maximum spiritual benefits.

The Administration Office is at the entrance of the Ashram. It looks after the guests and their security. There is reception, library, healing room, classrooms and storage room. The pathways from the office connect to studio apartments (staying rooms), mini parks, gardens, food area and meditation halls. GMCKS designed the halls and rooms according to Pranic Feng Shui principles. There are two large meditation halls. The first hall is used for courses, retreats and meditations. The second hall is used only for the practice of Arhatic Yoga Level 3 and higher levels. There is an Auditorium where gatherings can take place.

I stayed with my partner Anita. The room was very comfortable and spacious with a kitchen, bathroom, balcony and attached garden. All the necessary amenities were provided. The food was awesome in taste though it was onion and garlic free. It was just like homemade food with a beautiful aroma.
We had the proper practice schedule throughout the two days. We were preparing our bodies and minds for the Retreat in Mahabalipuram. In the evening, we took a round in the Ashram. We practiced meditation there and watched the sunset. Next day morning we went to a nearby hill for trekking. There was cold but climbing kept us warm. We observed beautiful Sunrise from there. We visited Mulshi Lake also.
